I've spent thousands on leads and advertising over the last 10-12 years, and due to my lack of skill it was pretty much a waste of time and money, some would say. I on the other hand choose to look at it as some very exepensive training. Through it all I learned that if you are gonna purchase those expensive leads you need to have a game plan. Know your product/opportuinty like the back of your hand. Be in charge of the conversation, you should be the one asking the questions. Remember you are interviewing people to see if they have what it takes to be an asset to your team. I learned that generating your own leads is far better that buying leads. There are many ways to do so but all methods have somewhat of a learning curve. At first, depending on the method you choose you may spend around the same for a lead that you generate as for the ones you buy from a broker but in the l
ong run the better you get at it the cheaper the leads become. Here are some of the ways you can gereate your own leads: Classifieds(web based or paper)-Paper ads can get very costly therfore must be tested over and over a gain to get the best ROI. You can find lot of free places on the net to post ads but this is very time consuming and the traffic you get is minimal. Magazine ads- These also are very expensive but if yo find the right magazine to advertise in yo will get plenty of traffic. Make sure if you are promoting a biz-opp that you advertise in a magazine close to that niche. Online articles- For those of you who can write, this is a very good method for creating a steady steam of traffic. you can write one article, post it on many different article directories. Be sure to put a text lin pointing back to your page, in the long run this will help your page rank for the keyword you choose to use in the text link. If you have good content many other sites will syndicate it on their page as well thus giving you more publicity. Google adwords- All I can say is if you are gonna go this route you had better reap Perry Marshals book "The Difinitive Guide to Google Adwords" or you will lose lots of money. Adwords is agreat way to get leads and sales but you have to know the ropes.
Voice Broadcasting-This is my favorite method. This is very easy, all I do is upload a list of phone numbers, record a 30-60 second voice message, push a button and in minutes I have people ringing my phone off the hook wanting to to know more about what we have to offer. I Never have to talk to negative people, I don't have to spend hours dialing number after number. It's like hiring a call center to do a months work in a about 30 minutes.
